The new television advert for Bogof Bingo was launched this week and you will probably remember that I announced this last month on the blog. Well the advert is now live and the celebrity rapper DJ Talent is there to promote this website. You may remember this character from the Britain’s Got Talent television programme.

The rapper who is London based shot to fame after performing in front of Simon Cowell and the other celebrity judges on the show and his gold teeth and word skills were something that really stood out. This new advertisement campaign by Bogof Bingo comes at the perfect time for DJ Talent too as he is set to release his very first single this week that is aptly titled I Say Britain. In the advert for Bogof Bingo he says I say Bogof so this advert should help both his career and the online bingo website too.

In the 20 second television advert you will see DJ Talent rapping and you will hear the lines “I say Bogof, you say bingo”. “You buy one, you get one free” and “Britain’s got bingo, it’s Bogof Bing”. These three lines are repeated throughout the duration of the advert and if I’m completely honest, you will find that they actually do stick in your head afterwards so don’t be surprised if you find yourself singing these phrases in your head for hours after seeing the advert.

As far as adverts go this one wouldn’t get my vote for visual effects but when it comes to entertainment and remembrance then this new Bogof Bingo advert gets a definite thumbs up. I can’t help but laugh when I see it but even after just three views I find that I am singing along and the website name really does stick in your mind. I think this is the result that the Bogof marketing team were aiming for and when you see the advert yourself you will know exactly what I am talking about.

Today when I was doing my research for this blog post and the different online bingo promotions that are currently running I came across two online bingo websites with exactly the same promotions.  I hate when this happens and I can imagine that it can get quite confusing for players too.  I have read about networked online bingo websites and online bingo websites that use the same bingo games software but I always thought that these websites all had their own promotions.  Maybe I was wrong.
